150th Anniversary Celebration - 56 Field Artillery Regiment, RCA - Freedom of the City Parade

On the 24th of September, 2016, the 56 Field Artillery Regiment, RCA will make its presence ubiquitous in Brantford through a Freedom of the City parade.  On this momentous occasion, the Mayor of Brantford will be the Reviewing Officer.  Additionally, the local MP, MPP, Six Nations representatives, the Brantford Police, the Brantford Fire Department, five affiliated cadet corps, other artillery units, and 32 Brigade representatives will all be in attendance.  

To help celebrate the sesquicentennial of this proud regiment, we strongly encourage the citizens of Brantford, Brant County and the Six Nations to show their support for the brave men and women of this regiment by attending the parade.

The parade will start at 1 p.m. from the Brantford Armoury and the troops will march down Colborne Street, will turn left onto Clarence, left onto Nelson, left onto George Street and will stop in front of the Brantford City Hall.  The ceremony will begin at 1.20 p.m.
