Battery in France

That one of the last batteries to leave Brantford is now in the thick of the fighting in France is apparent from the casualty lists of yesterday and today. Yesterday the wounding of Driver Charles Francis Lahey was reported two days after he had gone into the trenches, and today Gunner Alfred Robbins is also reported wounded. He is a member of Harmony Lodge, I.O.O.F., and formerly worked at the Brantford Laundry. His mother is Mrs. J. Robbins, residing at 23 Mt. Pleasant Street.
