We offer professional development for teachers desiring to deepen their knowledge of local history during the First World War.
We can provide workshops to groups of educators as part of their ongoing Professional Development. These can be tailored to a specific level (elementary, secondary, and post-secondary) and/or assignment. These workshops can be done at the work site, or can be done off-site. Cenotaph visits can also be an opportunity for educators from the community to learn more about providing a more locally-based history curriculum.
As the project grows, we will also welcome the opportunity for teachers to provide their own resources, which have been developed using the database and website.
