Private Albert Barber Dangerously Wounded

Mrs. Elizabeth Barber, 346 ½ Colborne Street, has received word that her husband, Private Albert Barber has been dangerously wounded. Private Barber enlisted with the 58th Battalion and this is the third time he has been wounded.

Private Albert Barber Died of Wounds

Mrs. Elizabeth Barber 346 ½ Colborne Street, received the sad news this morning that her husband, Private Albert Barber, formerly reported dangerously wounded on Sept. 18, died of his wounds Sept. 20 at No. 6 Clearing station. He enlisted in the 58th on June 1, 1915.

BX October 19, 1916

Mrs. Elizabeth Barber, of 35 Victoria Street, received the news last evening that her husband, Private Albert Barber, of the 58th Battalion, had been wounded and admitted to hospital on September 24. Private Barber resided at 43 Grey Street, and was a builder by trade. He has been for eight months in action and enlisted here with the 38th Dufferin Rifles, being transferred to Lt. Col. Genet’s battalion.

Mrs. Elizabeth Barber, of 85 Victoria Street, has received word that her father-in-law, Private Albert Barber has been wounded and admitted to No. 6 Casualty Clearing Station. According to the word received he was admitted to the clearing station on February 1 and was dangerously wounded. Private Barber enlisted with the 58th Battalion and this is the second time that he has been reported wounded.
