Medical Report on an Invalid

Was in the Loyal North Lancaster Regiment for a year and ten months, was discharged for varicose veins.  He reenlisted in the Canadian Contingent for the present war and got as far as France before he broke down.  His legs gave way and he had to be carried out of the trenches.  His legs felt heavy, appeared swollen and he was unable to walk.  He was sent ot the Field Hospital at Forboix and was transferred via Rouen and Le Harve to Netley at which place he arrived on April 10th.
