Private Alfred George Dixon Wounded

Word received in the city on Saturday last by his wife told of the wounding of Private Alfred George Dixon, a member of the 125th Battalion. Pte. Dixon left England with the first draft from the 125th to France and in the battle of Vimy Ridge was wounded in the thigh. Fortunately the wound was slight, and in his letter he states that he is about to return to the trenches. Mrs. Dixon and one child reside at 42 Colborne Street.
