Is Attached to the Flying Corps – Flight Lieutenant Angus Grant MacDonald is on His Way to England

Flight Lieutenant Angus Grant MacDonald who recently returned to the city from a three months aviation course at Newport News Va, has been attached to the Royal Naval Flying Corps and left last evening for England.

Before leaving three months ago to take the aviation course he was a sergeant in “A” company of the 125th Brant Battalion.  Prior to enlistment he was connected with the contracting firm of Schultz Bros.  His home is at 9 Buffalo Street.

It was about a week ago that Lieut. MacDonald returned from taking his course at Newport News, being connected with what is known as the Atlantic Coast Aeronautic station.  Last night he left for Ottawa where he completed arrangements before leaving for New York.  He will sail from New York for Liverpool and will spend more time in training at Henley before being attached to this Royal Flying Corps.

Flight Lieutenant MacDonald is very well known locally being an old collegiate boy.
