Brantford Casualties – Major A.N. Ashton and Pte. A. McIntyre Are Reported Wounded

The heavy fighting in the Somme sector has been responsible for the wounding of two more Brantford men, Major Alfred Nelles Ashton and Pte. Archibald McIntyre. 

Pte. Archibald McIntyre in this morning’s casualty list is officially reported wounded. According to The Expositor lists he is a single man and left here with the Third Contingent, having while in the city resided at 56 Darling Street.

The official casualty list issued reports that Archibald McIntyre, 215 Albion Street, Brantford and William Frank Young, of Hatchley, Ont., have been wounded.
