Arthur Thomas Baker

Arthur Thomas Baker, beloved husband of Charlotte Fox, passed away suddenly Friday evening at his residence, 11 Huron Street, in his seventy-seventh year.  Born in Plymouth, England, the deceased had been a resident of this City since coming to Canada in 1912.  He attended Holy Trinity Anglican Church.  During the First Great War, he was a member of the 125th Battalion from Brantford.  Besides his sorrowing widow, he leaves to mourn his loss a son, Arthur T.H. Baker, and a daughter, Mrs. Albert Nuttycombe, both of Brantford; a brother, Fred Baker, Toronto, and several sisters and brothers in England.  Mr. Baker is resting at Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted Monday afternoon.  Interment will be in Farringdon Burial Ground.

The funeral of Arthur Thomas Baker was conducted Monday afternoon from Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home to Farringdon Burial Ground.  Rev. T.D. Painting of Holy Trinity Anglican Church was in charge of the service, and the pallbearers were Charles Bowden, Ted Bowden, William Brown, Charles Venables, Arthur Tovey and Harry Westlake.
