Private Arthur W. Danskin, for the past three months a member of the 84th Overseas Battalion, died at 5 o’clock this morning after a week’s illness with pneumonia. Private Danskin is a son of William B. Danskin, wholesale butcher and previous to enlistment was connected with his father in the butchering business. On September 14, he was transferred from the 38th Regiment to the 84th Battalion. The deceased was 35 years of age and unmarried. He is survived by his father two brothers and four sisters; Danskin was in C. Company of the 84th Battalion. This death is only the second in the 84th Battalion since its inception, the other being Private Morris who died here. The funeral will take place to Mt. Hope cemetery next Friday afternoon with military honors, and will be the second military funeral in Brantford since the 84th arrived here.
