Arthur Lynn

Arthur Lynn, 70, of 109 Colborne Street, died Sunday in the Brantford General Hospital.  He was born in Toronto, and had resided in Brantford since 1928.  While in Toronto he was employed with the Toronto TPC, and for 13 years was with Brantford Coach and Body Limited, Brantford.   Mr. Lynn served overseas with the 40th Battery Royal Canadian Artillery during the First World War.  Surviving besides his wife, Audrey Biggs, the former Audrey Brown, are a son, Gordon of Ottawa, a daughter, Marjorie of Toronto; a step-daughter, Mrs. William (Mildred) Howlett, three step-sons, Larry, Leonard, Delbert, all of Hamilton; a sister, Mrs. George (May) Burton of London; two brothers, Ernest of Toronto, George in northern Ontario; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.  His first wife, Daisy Chadwick, died in 1929.  Mr. Lynn is at the McCleister Funeral Home for service Wednesday at 3.30 p.m.  Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery.
