Wounded

Mrs. Ada Wright, 80 Murray Street, has received word that her husband, Acting Corporal Arthur F. Wright, was wounded on April 22, and admitted to the 57th Casualty Clearing Station. He suffered gunshot wounds in the shoulder and neck and a compound fracture of the right arm.

WRIGHT – Suddenly in Brantford at his residence, 6 Murray Street, on Monday, August 31, 1970, A.F. (Fred) Wright (retired letter carrier in his 83rd year; husband of the late Ada Richards; dear father of Mrs. Kenneth (Lilian) Peart of St. Catharines, Mrs. Ronald (Edna) Mason, Mrs. Edward (Dorothy) Bradshaw, both of Brantford; also 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; also, brothers and sisters in England.  Resting at Hill and Robinson Limited, Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets, until Wednesday. Service in the chapel at 3.30 p.m.  Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, rev. E.A. Surrey will officiate.  An Odd Fellows service Tuesday evening at 7.30 p.m., auspices Gore Lodge, No. 34 I.O.O.F.
