Private Carlton Kenyon – He was also enlisted with the first contingent of Dufferin Rifles, served for some time with the Second Dragoons. He is a single man and is reported by Captain Colquhoun to have been wounded.

KENYON – At the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday, July 2, 1978, Carlton Kenyon of 495 Canterbury Street, Woodstock, in his 85th year; beloved husband of the former Ruby E. Wigens and dear father of Mrs. Gordon (Winnifred) Fraser and Doris Kenyon, both of Woodstock; also surviving are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; predeceased by two sons, Edward (Ted) Ernest, and a brother, Jack.  Friends will be received at the M.D. (Mac) Smith Funeral Home, Woodstock, Ontario, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in the Anglican Cemetery, Woodstock.
