Mrs. Charles Church of Maple Grove has received word that her husband Private Charles Church has been admitted to the hospital, suffering from gunshot wound in his right leg on Aug. 13. Pte. Church was with the 125th Battalion in Paris, before leaving for overseas.

CHURCH, Charles – On Wednesday, December 6, 1972, at the Willett Hospital, Paris, Charles J. Church; beloved husband of Jane Knight; father of Mrs. N. Tennant of Brantford, Frank of Hamilton, Mrs. V. McLennan (Evelyn) of Sault Ste. Marie, Charles Wayne of Sudbury, Mrs. J. Hodge (Marjorie) of St. Catharines; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Resting at the Smith and Thompson Funeral Home, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris.  Requiem mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 9, at Sacred heart Church, Paris.  Interment Paris Cemetery.  Rosary at 8 p.m. Friday evening.
