The sad intelligence that their son Private Charles Davis had been killed in action was conveyed to Mr. and Mrs. H. Davis, of 3 Balfour Street, this morning.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Davis, 3 Balfour Street, have received the sad intelligence that their son Trooper Charles Robert Davis of the Canadian Mounted Rifles was killed in action on April 10th last. He enlisted in Brantford during the year 1915, joining the 25th Brant Dragoons and being transferred thence to the C.M.R.
