Ernest Edwards, 1 Hazleton Ave., has received word from his mother in England that his younger brother, Charles, aged 20 years, has been killed in the war. He had never resided in Brantford, being a member of one of the English regiments. The letter conveying the sad information to his brother here gave no particulars, other than that the young man had been killed in action in Northern France.
