Charles M. Stuart

The death of Charles (Chauncey) M. Stuart, 16 Victoria Street, occurred today at the Brantford General Hospital in his fifty-ninth year.  A resident of this City for the past fifty years, deceased is survived by his widow; two sons, Charles and Lloyd Stuart, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Jack Chapman, St. Tomas, and Mrs. Cecil Huson and Mrs. Howard Mead, Brantford; one granddaughter, Arlene Mead; six brothers, John Stuart, London; Albert Stuart, Detroit; Alfred, William and Thomas Stuart, Brantford, and Chester Stuart, serving in England with a Central Ontario Regiment, as well as two sisters, Mrs. Stanley Cramer and Mrs. Joseph Ward, Detroit.  The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon from the Beckett Funeral Home, with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.

The funeral of Charles Montague Stuart was conducted Sunday afternoon from the Beckett Funeral Home with Rev. H.W. Mollins of Park Baptist Church in charge.  Relatives and friends were present in large numbers, and the profusion of floral tributes indicated the esteem in which deceased was held.  Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery, the pallbearers being Douglas, Reginald, Jack and Donald Stuart and Earl and William South.
