Private Clarence Thomas Standing, who some months ago was reported missing has now been officially reported missing has now been officially reported killed in action on October 26, 1917. Clarence was a son of the late William Standing and a nephew of Mr. E.H. Standing of the 9th concession.

BX March 25, 1918

In the official casualty lists issued at Ottawa on Sunday the name of C.T. Standing of Burford was included among those reported as having been killed in action.
