COOK – At his residence 384 Rawdon Street, on Saturday, August 19, 1972.  David Waters Cook, in his 79th year; dearly beloved husband of May Patton; dear father of Mrs. Davina Colomb of Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. William (Peggie) Dickey of Fergus and David Jr. of Toronto; also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.  Mr. Cook was a veteran of World War 1, life member of the United Sergeants; Mess and Gunners’ Club; retired employee of local Post Office staff, 39 years’ service, and member of Marlborough United Church.  Resting at Hill and Robinson Limited Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets, until Tuesday.  Service in the chapel 2 p.m.  Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Rev. John MacCallum officiating.
