Word has been received that Lieutenant Douglas James Macdonald who left here with the 125th Battalion has been wounded in action. He was formerly treasurer of the American Radiator Company here. His father resides in Utica, N.Y.

MACDONALD, Douglas James – On Monday, December 15, 1975, peacefully at home in his 85th year, dearly loved husband of Evelyn Whitside, dear father of Mary (Mrs. R.H. Jennings), Jeanne (Carter) and John A. Macdonald; lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren.  Funeral service at Trull Funeral Home, 2734 Yonge St., (at Alexandra Blvd.) 2.30 p.m. Wednesday, December 17.  Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers those who wish may make donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation.
