Ebenezer Herbert Lacey

The death occurred Sunday in Westminister Hospital, London, Ont., of Eben H. Lacey, 61, of 123 Elizabeth Street, Guelph.  A native of Brantford and a veteran of the First World War, Mr. Lacey left Brantford with the first contingent and served overseas with the 4th Battalion of Canadian Infantry.  He was a member of the Guelph branch of the Canadian Legion.  He leaves two sisters and a brother, Mrs. W.J. (Ruth) Eagleton, Mrs. Thomas (Mabel) Field and Grant A. Lacey, all of Brantford.  The funeral will be at McIntyre and Willkie’s Funeral Home, 1 Delhi Street, Guelph, at 2 p.m. Tuesday.  Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Park Cemetery, Guelph.
