OWEN, Egerton (Ted) – At the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, July 24, 1984, Egerton (Ted) Owen in his 93rd year; beloved husband of Bessie Emmett; predeceased by a daughter, Jane and two brothers, Fred and George; survived by several nieces and nephews, Mr. Owen was a member of Branch 90, Royal Canadian Legion and served overseas with the 125th Battalion during the First World War and was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church.  Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Funeral Home, 88 Brant Avenue, on Thursday, 2 to 4, and 7 to 9 p.m.  Service in the chapel on Friday at 3 p.m.  Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
