Wedding Bells

Barry-Roberts

Word has been received of the marriage at the Church of St. Martin’s-in-the-Field, Shorncliffe, Kent, England, on December 7, 1918, of Ellen, youngest daughter of Mr. Edward Roberts, Brantford, and Captain James E. Barry, M.C., C.A.M.C., son of the late James Barry and Mrs. Barry of Niagara Falls, Ont.  The bride has been a nursing sister in France and England the past two years, while Captain Barry has been overseas three years serving as medical officer to the second Canadian infantry battalion in France.  After a wedding breakfast given by brother officers at Shorncliffe, Captain and Mrs. Barry left for a trip through Devon and Cornwall.
