Sgt. James Clinch

OHSWEKEN – A military funeral for the late Sgt. James Clinch, a veteran of the First World War was held Sunday afternoon at Grand River United Church.  Sgt. Clinch was with the 114th Haldimand Battalion.  The Indian War Veterans’ Association was in charge of the service.  Survivors are four sons, Maurice, Walter, Russell and Cecil and one daughter, Mrs. George (Marie) Longboat.  His wife predeceased him some years ago.  Interment was in the Grand River Cemetery.
