Ernest Aaron

Ernest Aaron, 67 of Ohsweken, died Monday in Henderson General Hospital, Hamilton.  He had been a life-long resident of the Six Nations Reserve and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Aaron.  Mr. Aaron served overseas with the 114th Battalion Haldimand Rifles and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 90, Brantford.  He was employed with the Canada Glue Works for 25 years.  Surviving besides his wife the former Nellie Henry are two sons, William of Ohsweken, Lynn of the United States; two step-daughters, Mrs. Melva Hill of Stoney Creek, Mrs. Frances Maracle of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; one brother, Howard of Buffalo, N.Y.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.  Mr. Aaron will be at his residence, Ohsweken, for service Thursday at 2 p.m. in Upper Cayuga Long House, Ohsweken.  Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
