Word was received by Henry Elliott of Burtch yesterday morning of the death of his son, Private Ernest Elliott in Bramshott hospital, England, death being due to pneumonia following an attack of influenza. Besides a father, two brothers and three sisters are left to mourn his loss.

ELLIOTT – At Canadian General Hospital, England, on Oct. 28, 1919, Pte. Ernest Elliott, of the township, in his 22nd year.  Remains arrived from England Monday, May 19.  Funeral will take place from Thorpe Bros, funeral parlors this afternoon at 3 p.m.  Interment will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
