BX February 17, 1919

Word was received on Sunday by Mrs. H. Robins, 152 West Mill St., officially announcing that Private Frank Robins was seriously ill with influenza in No. 7 General Hospital, St. Omer. Pte. Robins enlisted in Winnipeg early in the war and went overseas with the 44th Battalion, later being transferred to the 10th Battalion. He had been through all the heavy battles.

Further Casualties

Private Reginald Smith is reported wounded. He is a single man and left with a draft from the 25th Brant Dragoons in January 1915, and was attached to the C.M.R. The wounding of Private Frank Robins of this city is officially reported this morning.

Pte. F. Robins in Hospital

Word was received this morning by Mrs. H. Robins, 152 West Mill Street, that her son, Private Frank Robins is reported admitted to No. 10 Field Ambulance, Sept. 26, being bruised from being buried by a shell. Pte. Robins enlisted in Winnipeg in May 1915, with the 44th Battalion, but was later drafted to the 10th Canadian Battalion.
