Frank Sevier

Frank Sevier, 30 of 50 Burwell Street, died Wednesday in the Brantford General Hospital. He was born in England, and had been a resident of Brantford for the past 52 years.  Mr. Sevier was a veteran of the First World War and served with the 125th Battalion CEF.  He was a foreman of the Brantford Board of Works.  He retired in 1955 after 42 years of service.  He was a member of Grace Anglican Church for 50 years.  Surviving besides his wife the former Millie Midgley, are four sons, Leslie of Brantford, Edward of Princeton, Fred and Charles both of Brantford; two step-daughters, Mrs. William (Nora) File, Mrs. Don (Olive) Howarth of Brantford; a brother, William of Brantford; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.  His first wife the former Hilda Florence Abel, died in 1945.  Mr. Sevier is at the Beckett Funeral Home for service Saturday at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Archdeacon F.C. McRitchie will officiate.
