Frederick Coleman
The death occurred in the Amherstberg Military Hospital yesterday of Frederick Coleman, Brantford, at 70 years of age. Born in Maysville, Iowa, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Coleman. He came to Canada at an early age, and in later years became a tinsmith by trade. He was a member of the 125th Battalion and served during the first Great War. Surviving is a brother, William, Brantford. He is resting at the Beckett Funeral Home until Saturday afternoon, when funeral services will be held, followed by interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon for Frederick Coleman at the Beckett Funeral Home and in the Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery, Rev. Edgar H. Burritt, of Park Baptist Church officiated. The pallbearers, all members of the local branch of the Canadian Legion and in charge of Comrade E.R. Edwards, were D. Monkman, H. Twidale, H. Kneller, J. Lune, W. Thompson and C. Sutherland. Bugler George McGregor sounded the Last Post at the Cemetery.
