Frederick Embury

Frederick Embury Sr., of R1 Mount Pleasant (McGill Tract) died Friday in Brantford General Hospital.  Born in Middlesex, England, he had been a resident of the Brantford district for the past 55 years.  A former employee of the Massy-Ferguson Company, he retired in 1960.  He served overseas with the 10th Canadian Battalion in the First World War. He was a member of the Paris Branch, Royal Canadian Legion. Surviving besides his wife, the former Eva Weaver are two sons, Fred E. at home and Earl W. of Brantford; three daughters, Mrs. James (Alice) Gamble, Mrs. Keith (Rose) Gale and Mrs. Dennis (Jean) Edwards, all of Brantford, and nine grandchildren.  Mr. Embury is at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home for service Monday at 3.30 p.m.  Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
