Frederick James McIntyre

Frederick James McIntrye, 70 of 90 ½ Waterloo Street, died Monday at his residence.  He was born in Brantford, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McIntrye.  Mr. McIntrye was a retired shoe maker.  He served overseas during the First World War with the Second Battalion Central Ontario Regiment in the Fourth Battalion Canadian Machine Gun Corps.  He was a member of Branch 90 Royal Canadian Legion.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (June) Isaacs of Brantford; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.  Mr. McIntrye is at the Beckett Funeral Home for service Thursday at 3.30 p.m.  Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery.  Rev. J.H. MacCallum, chaplain of Branch 90 Royal Canadian Legion will officiate.
