BX September 19, 1918

Mrs. T. Wright, 9 Port Street, had received word that her son, Private Frederick Jonas Wright has been wounded in action. He received wounds in the shoulder, and has been admitted to St. Alban’s Hospital, Middlesex. Pte. Wright who has served many months in France, left here with the 84th Battalion, and was transferred to the famous 75th in France.

WRIGHT, Frederick J. – At the Brantford General Hospital Wednesday, July 24, 1974, Frederick J. Wright, in his 89th year; dear father of Roy Wright, Brantford; brother of Mrs. Harry Wilde (Rose), Mrs. Edward J. Hewitt (Daisy) Brantford; 4 grandchildren; predeceased by his wife Grace Williams Wright and 2 sons Harold and Stanley Wright.  Resting at Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home, 96 West Street from 2 p.m., Thursday. Service Friday July 26, at 2.30 p.m.  Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.  Reverend Grand Darling Rector St. Jude’s Anglican Church will officiate.
