Today’s casualty list contains the name of the first member of the 114th Battalion to be wounded. It is Private George Frederick Anderson of Ohsweken. He is a nephew of Mrs. James Burnham of South Street.

George Anderson

The death took place at Westminster Hospital, London, Ont., yesterday of George Anderson, well known and highly respected Six Nations’ Reserve resident.  The late Mr. Anderson was thirty-seven years old and a veteran of the Great War. He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Harry Green.  His parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Martin also survive.
