Mr. E. Franklin of 116 Walnut Street has received word of the death of Private George Blyth, formerly of this city, who after being rejected as a volunteer for service with the 125th, went to London, and there enlisted with the 7th Essex Regiment, which was stationed somewhere in Egypt. On November 3, 1917, Private Blyth paid the supreme price. Before leaving for England he was employed on the Golf Links farm with Mr. A. Ryan.
