George Bomberry

BOMBERRY – In the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, October 9, 1969, George Bomberry of R1, Ohsweken in his 73rd year (veteran of World War One, 114th Battalion, Councillor on Six Nations’ Band Council, Member of Royal Canadian Legion branches 134 and 90).  Beloved husband of Margaret Jacobs; dear father of Nelson, Three Rivers, Quebec, George, R6 Hagersville; Carson, Oakland, California; Mrs. Jesse (Margaret) White, Mrs. Bruce (Mary) White, Mrs. Harold (Patricia) Maracle, Mrs. Maurice (Roberta) Green, Mrs. Welby (Leslie) White, all of R1 Ohsweken; and Mrs. Marlin (Joyce) Hill R5 Hagersville; brother of Joseph, Buffalo, New York, and Mrs. Catherine Clause of Delaware; also survived by 40 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Resting at Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, until Saturday 10.30 a.m. Funeral service 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Ohsweken.  Interment in adjoining cemetery, Rev. Karl Hanson will officiate.
