George Carruth
The death occurred suddenly in Detroit on Sunday of George Carruth, in his 60th year. Coming from Paisley, Scotland, 22 years ago, the deceased took up residence in Brantford, and he was for some years a member of Zion church. For the past ten years he had made his home in Detroit. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his sorrowing widow, one daughter, Mrs. Charles Weaver, city, two sons, William and James, both of Detroit, one sister, Mrs. James Clews, city and three brothers, John, Matthew and William, all of Paisley, Scotland. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Weaver, 280 Darling Street, with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.

The funeral of George Carruth took place yesterday from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Weaver, 280 Darling Street, with interment in Mount Hope cemetery. Rev. A.G. Doner officiated at the home and graveside, and was assisted by Rev. J.Y. Mackinnon. The pallbearers were: Matthew Clews, J.A. Clews, John Innes, H. McCormack, Jun.; Jack Carruth and Charles Weaver.
