Four Names on Brant County Casualty List – Privates Thompson and Crabtree, City, Flavelle, Paris, and Cooke, St. George – All Wounded

A long list of casualties received shortly before noon today contained the names of several more Brantford or Brant County men who have been wounded on the battlefields.

Private George Crabtree is a single man who left Brantford with the Second Contingent. Previous to enlistment he was employed as a candy maker and resided at 113 Cayuga Street. His brother, Henry Crabtree, left with the Third Contingent.
