Word was received by Mrs. George Noss, 178 Dalhousie Street, that her husband, Pte. George Wilfred Noss had been wounded on May 3. He was a former employee of the Adams Wagon Co., and went overseas in the First Brant County Battalion, going to France in the first draft.

Mrs. George Noss, 178 Dalhousie Street, received a telegram yesterday that her husband, Pte. George Wilfred Noss, previously reported wounded, is now officially reported wounded and missing on May 3rd. Private Noss went overseas in the first battalion, going to France in the first draft.

Mrs. Elizabeth Noss received word from Ottawa on Dec. 24 that her husband, Pte. George Wilfred Noss, previously reported wounded and missing, is now reported to have died on May 3, 1917. Private George Noss went overseas in the 125th Brant Battalion, later being transferred to the first Canadian battalion. He was a former employee of the Adams wagon works. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and three small children.
