Mrs. Ellen Wismer, 21 Carlisle Street, has received official notification from Ottawa that her son, Private Gerald Wismer, has suffered light gunshot wounds in the right leg and has been admitted to No. 18 General Hospital at Camiers on May 3. Prior to his enlistment with the first overseas battalion of the Dufferin Rifles, Pte. Wismer was an employee of the Gibson Coal Company.
