Three Homes Here Bereft by War’s Claims

Three more Brantford homes were saddened by the receipt of telegrams from the war department at Ottawa conveying the news that Privates Lawrence Wilmot Livingston, Gordon Kenneth Wilkinson and C. Anderson had been killed in action on April 12.

Mr. Richard Wilkinson, 30 Richmond Street, also had the fateful word this morning that his son, Pte. Gordon Kenneth Wilkinson, Livingston’s chum, had also been killed in action on the same day. He went overseas in the first Brant County Battalion. Before enlisting he worked with his brother-in-law, D. Noble in his butcher shop. He was single. His father lives with a surviving sister, Mrs. Dan Noble. Both boys were chums and were apparently killed together.
