BROOKS – At Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo on Thursday, December 31, 1970, Lt. Col. Harold Woodburn Brooks in his 77th year; beloved husband of Marie Goodwin and dear father of Mrs. S.J. (Anne) Hitchings of East Aurora, New York and Richard of Paris; step-father of Donald Goodwin, Mrs. Francis (Doris) Moser, Mrs. Willard (Pauline) Moser, Jack Goodwin, Mrs. Grant (Janet) Brash; also survived by 20 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; predeceased by his first wife, Daisy H. Brooks.  Resting at the Beckett Funeral Home, 88 Brant Avenue for service on Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. H. Johnson officiating.  Interment Farringdon Burial Ground.
