Samuel Pinney, 78 Brant Street, has received word from Ottawa that his son, Private Harry Pinney, had been slightly wounded in the ankle and admitted to the 16th Stationary Hospital at St. Omer France, on May 5.

Seriously Ill

Seriously ill at No. 10 Stationary Hospital, Stormer was the word received today by Mr. Samuel Pinney, 78 Brant Street, in reference to his son, Private Harry Pinney. Pte. Pinney is suffering from a gunshot wound in his ankle and a compound fracture. Before war broke out Private Pinney was working at the Massey-Harris Plant.  He went overseas with the first overseas battalion from the 38th Dufferin Rifles. Pte. Pinney was a single man.
