Henry Beasley

Henry Beasley, 105 Park Avenue, died this morning at the Brantford General Hospital in his 88th year.  Born in England, Mr. Beasley came to Canada 40 years ago. He was employed with the Brantford Willow Works for many years and was a member of the Canadian Legion and St. Jude’s Church.  He served overseas in the First World War with the 125th Battalion.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Reginald Andrews, Nuneaton, England; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Mr. Beasley is resting at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home.

Henry Beasley

The funeral service for Henry Beasley was conducted Thursday afternoon at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home by Rev. F.W. Schaffter, of St. Jude’s Anglican Church.  Many friends and relatives attended the service and the display of flowers expressed the esteem in which the deceased was held.  The pallbearers were L. Sutton, W. Thompson, G. Rickwood, C. Wiltshire, M. Grummet and A.W. Wright, all members of the Canadian Legion.  They were in charge of E.R. Edwards and D. Monkman.  Interment was in Farringdon Burial Ground.
