The death of Henry Edward Webster occurred suddenly Saturday evening at the Brantford General Hospital in his 84th year.  Born at Norwich, England, he came to Canada 47 years ago and was a resident of Brantford for 43 years.  Mr. Webster spent part of his younger life in the Imperial Army and was a veteran of the Boer War.  After coming to Canada, he enlisted with the 36th Battalion at the outbreak of the First World War.  He was a member of the Canadian Legion for many years and a life member of the Ex-Imperials Club.  He is survived by three sons, William and Fred Webster, Brantford Township and William Brind, Detroit; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Monroe, London, and Mrs. Garnet (Rose) North, Brantford, and nine grandchildren.  He is resting at the Beckett Funeral Home, where service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery.
