THORNTON, G. Herbert – At the Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday, October 23, 1980, in his 95th year, G. Herbert Thornton; beloved husband of Maria Morrison; dear father of Mrs. Ronald (Marry) Middleton, Brantford and Morrison Thornton, Calgary; also survived by five grandchildren, one great grandson and brothers and sisters in England.  Visitation at the McCleister Funeral Home, 30 Brant Avenue, Sunday evening. Private family service will be held in the chapel on Monday.  Interment in Farringdon Burial Ground, Rev. Ken Norman of Fairview United Church will officiate.
