BX May 15, 1917

One of the fateful yellow messages was received by Mr. C.E. Timleck, 71 William Street, yesterday with the news that his son, Private Herbert Edward Timleck had been wounded in the chest on May 4 and was now at No. 3 General Hospital at Calais. He left Brantford with the first overseas battalion of the Dufferin Rifles and was early sent to France.
