Killed in Action
Word was received in the city this morning that Private James George Campbell, formerly of the 125th Battalion, had been killed in action at the front. Pte. Campbell was of Scottish birth, and enlisted here in the autumn of 1915, being 25 years of age, and employed as a farmer. He is a married man, leaving a wife and one son three years of age, as well as his parents and one sister, a nurse in a London hospital. A brother was killed while serving with the flying corps in the first year of the war.

Killed in Action
“Killed in Action” was the report received here today in regard to Private James George Campbell of Bright, who enlisted here and went overseas with the first Brant County Battalion. Private Campbell formerly worked a farm at Bright with his wife and little son, who survive him, are now living there. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He had one brother, who was with the flying corps, killed in action, and a sister is in a hospital in London, England. For four years before enlisting he had lived in Canada.
