James Davidson Dies at Paris

PARIS – James T. Davidson, 4 Charlotte Street, died in the Willett Hospital Monday following a brief illness.

The son of the late Scott Davidson, onetime MPP for Brant, he had spent most of his life in Paris.  A member of the Presbyterian Church, he was employed as a clerk at the Paris Post Office.

Survivors include his widow, the former Irene C. Frye; a brother, Robert G. Davidson, St. Hyacinthe, Que., and an aunt, Mrs. Thomas Mauer, Paris.

Funeral service will be held at the Paris Presbyterian Church Thursday at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in Paris Cemetery.  The Bruce B. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
