Three Brantford Men Killed in Action Reported Today – Sergeant Albert Speechly, Privates James Finnemore and William Thomas Fuller

Another Brantford man, Private James Finnemore has paid the supreme price. Today Mrs. Campbell had word from Pte. Finnemore’s mother, who resides in the Old Land, to the effect that he, had been killed in action on Sept. 10. Private Finnemore formerly worked at Campbell’s café. He left for St. Catharines shortly before the war broke out and enlisted there with the 19th Battalion. The 19th Battalion had a company of Brantford men.
