Private James Thomson of Brantford, with the 125th Battalion, is today reported dangerously ill at the Connaught Hospital, Aldershot, with pneumonia. Before enlisting Private Thomson was a marine engineer on the great lakes. His wife, Mrs. Martha Thomson, resides at 97 Lyons Ave.

Private James Thomson Died at Bramshott – Had Attack of Pneumonia, Which Had Fatal Result

Another member of the 125th (Canadian) Battalion, Private James Thomson of this city has died before reaching the battlefield. Word was today received in the city that he had succumbed to an attack of pneumonia in the Connaught hospital at Aldershot. About two weeks ago he was reported dangerously ill. Before enlisting Private Thomson was a marine engineer on the great lakes. His wife resides at 97 Lyons Avenue.
